The Vienna International Community on Sustainable Development is the organization, that implements projects and campaigns in all fields of sustainable development.

These projects cover all topic areas ranging from human rights issues to economic issues to environmental issues. As a consequence the three "Es" of sustainable development are an integral part - economy, employment, environment.

Eventually, sustainable development is an integral way to ensure the same or improved livelihoods for coming generations. That is the reason why all parts of the solution should have this integral way.

Consequently, VICOSD is sustaining good contacts via its network to national, regional and international institutions and organizations.

VICOSD as Lobbying Organization 

Lobbying is, especially in the United States, an widely used tool to push for the interests in all kinds of fields. In Austria, though, this field is still at its beginnings.

At the end VICOSD has acknowledged the importance of lobbying and is increasingly using this tool to negotiate its interests.

Since VICOSD is very often trying to reach certain goals with its campaigns that are rather important but paid little attention to, VICOSD is relying heavily on the tool of lobbying - also for its campaigns.

VICOSD Campaigns

VICOSD ist an organization which is increasingly using campaigning. Only with efficient awareness raising is it possible to implement important topics sustainably. This campaigns target all different groups of the population at should make them aware about immenent problems in this world.

What all campaigns have in common is sustainable development as its core.
